Spartans ’09!
June 2nd, 2009 by Kent Posted in Blog | 4 Comments »
The Bainbridge Island high school seniors were busy painting the roads with celebratory “Spartans” and “2009″ graffiti this past week. Most were pretty benign, but this giant cock-n-balls showed up at my intersection, complete with “SPARTANS” down the shaft, what appears to be pubic hair, and a rather detailed ejaculation (off-camera). At first I was offended. Ha ha ha, OK no I wasn’t. I’m still laughing about it because apparently, as Sarah frequently reminds me, I am 12. But what does she know?
I have it on authority that the BI Spartans lacrosse team may be the driving force behind the expressive cock-n-ballses and the road graffiti barrage. The story goes that some of these rascally lacrossers even have cock-n-ballses shaved into their haircuts. They are pretty good I hear, having gone to state tournament something something, so I suppose they are entitled to their genitalia symbols.
Another Redesign
June 1st, 2009 by Kent Posted in Blog | 2 Comments »Got sick of the ultra-minimalist and decided to juggle around a few more doo-dads. Still not totally happy with it, and I will inevitably tweak a whole bunch more, but hey, this has always been an experiment anyway. So yeah, you can see what I’m reading and listening to and watching now. It’s all very Web 2.0… about 5.0 years late.
I go to my own drummer. Like that guy from Foghat.
